We’re two friends who saw a gap in London’s dog care services and decided to create a solution. We recognized that many dog owners in the city were struggling to find flexible, reliable, and high-quality care for their furry companions. With busy schedules and varying needs, dog owners needed more than just a standard daycare or dogwalker—they needed a service that could adapt to their lifestyles. Driven by our shared love for dogs and a desire to provide a better experience, we set out to create a space where dogs receive exceptional care, tailored to their needs, while offering owners peace of mind and flexibility. At West End Tails, we welcome small and medium-sized dogs up to 30kg. However, we do not accept any breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, including American XL Bullies who were added in 2023.
All dogs must attend a Meet and Greet session before their first booking. This includes a short tour of the facility with the owner, followed by a 60–90 minute stay so we can get to know your dog and ensure they’re comfortable in our environment. After a successful Meet and Greet, your dog will be ready to join us for daycare.
Complete the Meet and Greet registration here and then book in your session here.

At West End Tails, dogs will enjoy a full day of engaging activities designed to stimulate both their bodies and minds, ensuring they have a fun, enriching experience from start to finish.
Play Areas & Socialization
Dogs will have access to multiple, fully staffed play areas, each carefully separated by size, energy level, and temperament. Whether your dog loves to run, jump, and play with others or prefers a quieter space to relax and socialize, we’ve got them covered. Our dedicated team supervises playtime to ensure all dogs interact safely and positively. From group play to one-on-one sessions, dogs will have plenty of opportunities to make new friends and enjoy interactive games designed to keep them active and engaged.
Indoor Potty Area & Outdoor Walks
We know how important bathroom breaks are, so we’ve created an indoor potty area that mimics the experience of a park, with soft, natural grass and plenty of space for dogs to relieve themselves comfortably. Additionally, dogs will enjoy regular on-leash walks to nearby Lincoln’s Inn Fields, a lovely green space where they can stretch their legs, explore, and enjoy the fresh air. These outdoor breaks offer a change of scenery and give dogs a chance to refresh before returning to their activities. Please note that there is no off-lead time outside with West End Tails; your dog will remain on-lead during park walks/time.
Homepacked Meals
For dogs who require a mid-session meal, we serve home-packed meals provided by owners (or prepared by us upon request). During mealtime, dogs can enjoy their food in a calm, quiet environment, ensuring they are well-fed and content. This helps maintain their regular eating habits while they’re away from home.
Relaxation Areas & Snuggles
After busy playtime and exploration, dogs can unwind in our dedicated Relaxation Zones. These peaceful spaces are designed for dogs to take a nap, rest, or simply enjoy some quiet time. Our team members are always on hand for snuggles, gentle massages, or just some extra attention, making sure each dog feels loved and cared for throughout the day.
Enrichment & Mental Stimulation
Throughout the day, we’ll provide a variety of enrichment activities to keep dogs mentally stimulated. These could include puzzle toys, scent games, or structured training exercises, all of which help engage dogs’ natural instincts and provide a satisfying challenge. Our goal is to ensure every dog leaves feeling fulfilled, both physically and mentally.
At West End Tails, we’ve designed our daycare experience to be as dynamic and personalized as each dog, offering a perfect balance of play, rest, socialization, and mental stimulation throughout the day.

Yes! Daycare is great for puppies! It’s a safe place where they can learn how to “be a dog.” They’ll learn socialisation skills and how to take themselves for a rest when they’re tired. They’ll learn how to play with others, share toys, and make friends. We recommend puppies come in regularly while they are in this learning phase so that it becomes part of their routine.
While there is no age limit, puppies must be fully vaccinated prior to daycare. They will have shorter walks and playtimes and longer, more structured rest periods to ensure their experience is inline with their developmental abilities. A full, individualised plan will be created in partnership with each puppy pawrent.

Yes. All dogs at West End Tails must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to their first service. West End Tails requires the Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus (DHP), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough vaccines. Titre tests will be considered on a case by case basis in partnership with our vet partners.
